In pairs, research and create a presentation or handout for one of the following composers (you need to divide the work between you!) This needs to be complete at the end of period 1.
Poulenc
Stravinsky
Hindemith
Prokofiev
Debussy
Ravel
You need the following information:
Key facts (dates, birth place, where they lived etc)
Influences (impact of location, historical context, composers they worked with or developed from)
Musical style (including events in their like which impacted their style)
Examples of standout pieces
Anything else interesting
Don't forget to actually listen to some of their music! Find something you like or can comment on.
